Supported payments on other transport: metro, bus, waterbus (ferry) and Guangdong Intercity.

Cash

Ticket Machine accepts RMB ¥1(coin), ¥5, ¥10. Get on the tram and show the QR Code on the ticket to the scan window of Ticket Inspection Machine.

Transit card

Transit cards below are available.

Yang Cheng Tong, Guangfo Tong (and Lingnan Pass built-in with Guangdong Transit Card Application )

The China T-union card with both Lingnan Pass logo and a 🄳 or 🅂 symbol actually does not equipped with Lingnan Pass application. The discounts for Lingnan Pass will not appliable with these cards. Please refer to the China T-union card section.

• Regular card: enjoy the fare discounts plan for Guangzhou public transport and Foshan Metro.
• Non-regular card: 
  • Children card: free ride.
  • Student card: 50% off.
  • Guangzhou Priority Card for Senior (60~64 years old): 50% off. 
  • Guangzhou Priority Card for Senior (65 years old and elder): free ride. 
  • Guangzhou Priority Card for Disabled: 50% off. 
  • Guangzhou Priority Card for Severely Disabled: free ride. 
  • Foshan Priority Card for Senior (60~64 years old): 50% off if activated. Available to activate at the stations from Chencunbei to Meidi Dadao of Line 7, the stations from Xilang to Xincheng Dong of Guangfo Line.
  • Foshan Priority Card for Senior (65 years old and elder): free rides if activated. Available to activate at the stations from Chencunbei to Meidi Dadao of Line 7, the stations from Xilang to Xincheng Dong of Guangfo Line.
  • Non-regular card issued in other region uses as a regular card. 

China T-union card

• Card issued in Guangzhou and Foshan: enjoy the fare discounts plan for Guangzhou public transport and Foshan Metro. 
• Card issued in other region: no discounts. 

UnionPay QuickPass

THP1 not accept UnionPay QuickPass yet.

UnionPay IC Credit Card and UnionPay Mobile QuickPass with binding a UnionPay Credit Card available to the reader beside the tram door. 

The CMB UnionPay IC Debit Card and UnionPay Mobile QuickPass with binding a CMB UnionPay Debit Card are no longer available since March 28, 2023. 

Metro Day Pass

The Guangzhou Metro 1-Day and 3-Day Pass are available to buy at the Guangzhou Metro customer service center and WTSD eMetro self-service card machine. The Foshan Metro 1-Day and 3-Day Pass are available to buy at the Foshan Metro and Nanhai Tram customer service center. No exit at the same station where you enter.

• 1-Day Pass: ¥20, unlimited rides for 24 hours since the first use. 
• 3-Day Pass: ¥50, unlimited rides for 72 hours since the first use.

Attention

Please keep your ticket carefully on your journey. There will be staff on the tram to check if the passenger has a valid ticket. For passenger using China T-union card, UnionPay card or pay as get on, please show the payment record.

Please pay again If board again after getting off or continue journey when the terminal arrived.
