Guangzhou Metro system (including Guangfo Line) will be postponed for one hour to off-running from October 1 to 3.
October 1 to 3 are the statutory holidays of Chinese National Day. It is estimated that the average traffic flow in Guangzhou Metro may reach 6.9 million person-time per day during the National Day holiday. The peak may reach on October 1, with an estimated traffic flow of 8.39 million person-time.
In order to cope with the heavy traffic flows in the holiday, Guangzhou Metro will exert their maximum capacity to channel the flow. If there is a passenger surge, certain trains might not stop at some stations.
