New fare discounts plan for public transport will be conducted from Sep 1st

The adjustment plan of fare discounts for Guangzhou public transport will be conducted from September 1^st, 2023.

The existing plan is count by the times of ride. 40% off for the rides over 15 times in a month.

Diagram of the new plan of fare discounts — No discount for spending less than ¥80 in the new plan. 20% off fo the spending over ¥80 but less than ¥200. 50% off for the spending over ¥200 and no cap for the discounts.

The new plan is count by the amount of rides. 20% off for the spending over ¥80 and less than ¥200, 50% off for the spending over ¥200.

Also the spending with single QR transit code is included in the new plan.
